CBS News: Democratic Senate candidates smash fundraising records in 2nd quarter

A new report from CBS News is highlighting Democrats' fundraising success so far this year:

"Heading into the summer, Democratic Senate hopefuls are raising record amounts of cash in their bids to unseat Republican incumbents. The massive fundraising hauls are pouring in despite the ongoing economic crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic."

Our Democratic Senate candidates across the country are building impressive grassroots campaigns -- and they are ready to flip red seats blue and help us build a Democratic majority.

This is excellent news for Democrats' hopes of winning the Senate -- but it's not enough to flip red seats in states like Kentucky, South Carolina, and Montana. We need to defend our blue seats -- like Dick Durbin's right here in Illinois. And with our self-funding "independent" opponent writing himself a $5 million dollar check this week -- we need to double our efforts.
