John, recently, I got called out directly by Trump for "vilifying ICE" when in reality, I was telling the truth.
Now, not only is Trump hilariously unpopular, but this month, Californians and voters across the country made sure he knows it.
Immigrant communities are a crucial part of what makes us unique here in the San Gabriel Valley. By trying to fill deportation quotas through reckless and deadly raids, ICE and Trump are doing exactly what I said, "trying to silence communities of color" and "sow fear, not justice."
He thinks that by terrorizing families he can distract from his policies that have done nothing but leave working people out to dry, yet the November election showed that his cruel and inhumane strategy isn't working.
John, we had great wins for Democrats across the country, but those wins don’t mean our work is over. In fact, we haven’t stopped at all.
Because our seat became more competitive after Prop 50 passed, our team is already knocking on doors across the new boundaries of District 31, meeting face to face with voters in Chino, Pomona, Montclair, and Walnut.
