This new website tracks the fortunes of America’s wealthiest 614 billionaires. It provides this group’s staggering real-time net worth, which has grown by 23% since the pandemic hit in mid-March.

And this new website, produced in partnership with the Institute for Policy Studies – Inequality Program, shows just how much these 614 billionaires have contributed to political campaigns and PACs over the last 20 years both in dollar amounts and as a share of overall federal campaign contributions.

As more and more wealth becomes concentrated among a very few, look at how these billionaires are using their money to influence federal political campaigns:

ATF’s “Billionaires by the Numbers” shines a spotlight on the Billionaire Class, suggesting an answer to the economic and racial injustices in the U.S. When we demand that the wealthiest among us―an almost exclusively white economic elite―pay their fair share in taxes, we’d raise trillions of dollars to address our immediate crises while building an economy and society for the future that works for all of us.
