With national redistricting changes, experts at the Cook Political Report just announced that MI-08 is now the “tipping-point” seat to decide control of the House next year.

In other words, MI-08 is Seat 218 — 217 seats to the Left and 217 to the right. If Democrats want to win the majority, this is the seat that gets us there.

That’s a big reason why MAGA-aligned outside groups have spent nearly $1 million on misleading attack ads against me — making me one of the most targeted Democrats this cycle. They know if we hold MI-08, their path to keeping the majority gets a whole lot steeper.

And remember: Trump won this district by two points last year. That means we can’t take anything for granted — and Republicans know it.
