Friend, Donald Trump just called for my death and arrest.

He not only called for my arrest—he went even further, calling for violence against me and several of my colleagues who also served the country before our time in Congress.

Why? Because we spoke a simple truth: no service member is forced to follow an illegal order. The oath to the Constitution is sacred, one that I first swore as a 17-year old at the Naval Academy, and binds us all to the rule of a law.

I will not be intimidated by Donald Trump and his calls for violence against me.
