About the Webinar

People on the autism spectrum who have sensory sensitivities or communication differences may experience challenges in encounters with first responders. In this webinar, a panel of self-advocates will share information to equip first responders to better understand and support the needs of people on the autism spectrum. We will also share how families and friends can help prevent escalation or misunderstanding with first responders.

ASL and CART services will be provided.
