Protect Dogs in Military Housing
View this email in a browser. [[link removed]] [[link removed]]Dear John,
Far too often, military families are forced to give up their beloved canine
companions when they transfer due to discriminatory and inconsistent companion
animal policies on military bases. Please take a few minutes to urge your U.S.
Representative to include breed-neutral policies for families living in military
housing in the National Defense Authorization Act.

TAKE ACTION
[[link removed]]These conflicting policies lead to confusion and heartbreak for military
families with dogs. Policies that discriminate against dogs based on breed
instead of behavior are not only difficult to enforce, they’re ineffective.
Breed-neutral policies that focus on the behavior of an individual dog and her
guardian are the best way to keep communities safe and reduce dangerous
dog-human interactions.
Thank you for advocating for commonsense companion animal policies to protect
dogs and their families.
For the animals,
Alicia Prygoski
