The rank hypocrisy of the Trump administration is a joke—until you remember they are actively dismantling our democracy while they tell their lies.

The latest outrage comes from Scott Bessent, the Treasury Secretary, a hedge fund billionaire worth over $500 million, who looked the country in the eye and claimed he "felt the pain" of American farmers because, in his words, "I'm actually a soybean farmer."

Bullsh*t.

He doesn't drive a tractor. He doesn't wake up at dawn to check the fields. He doesn't worry about the commodity markets (unless he's making more millions from his portfolio). Scott Bessent simply owns millions of dollars in North Dakota farmland that he leases out to actual working farmers. He’s a landlord, not a laborer. He collects the rent checks while the farmers—the real ones—suffer the pain of Trump's trade wars.

This is the kind of arrogance dripping from every member of this administration. They believe their wealth insulates them from the consequences of their actions and that they can lie to your face without consequence.
