Jack,

Happy Women's Equality Day!

...You have this holiday marked on your calendar, right?

If you don't, today is the day we celebrate the full adoption of the 19th Amendment — recognizing women's right to vote. This day is important because it's a reminder of all the achievements we've made in the fight for women's equality and for voting rights, as well as a reminder of how much further we still have to go.

I decided to run for the Senate because we still have so much work to do, and we need more champions — for women, for voting rights — in Washington. In honor of Women's Equality Day, will you step up in support of my campaign?

Celebrate this milestone in women's history and chip in to help me get to the Senate.

The right to vote was just a step in the fight for gender equality — and it was an incomplete one, as it would take more time for women of color to gain the same access to the ballot box.

We all know there's plenty more to do from achieving equal pay for equal work to guaranteeing real access to health care, including the full range of reproductive health care options. Not to mention fighting back against large-scale voter suppression efforts across the country.

But I'll leave you with this: If we don't elect more women and have an equal voice in the Senate, it's going to make all of this that much harder to achieve. I'm ready to take up the charge and bring us a step closer to equality, but I need your help.

Chip in today if you're all in for creating an equal voice for women in the Senate.

Let's do this,

Maggie
