Everybody knows that under the Trudeau government, the size of government, the level of spending, and the level of debt all exploded.

And we got confirmation in the budget tabled two weeks ago that this will continue under the Carney government.

But did you know how fast the federal bureaucracy also increased during those years?

The number of civil servants has gone up from roughly 260,000 to 360,000, a 38% increase.

THAT’S 100,000 MORE IN ONLY TEN YEARS!



Unsurprisingly, we have to pay more and more taxes to fund this army of bureaucrats.

According to new government figures tabled recently in the House of Commons, the cost of the federal bureaucracy increased by $6 billion – or 9% – last year only.

When you lose control of your finances, you need to cut spending drastically to take it back.

And only the People’s Party is not afraid to tell the truth to Canadians and identify programs that should be cut or eliminated, instead of pretending that we can go on like this forever if we only make some minor adjustments.
