You likely already know the lore—a decade ago, Lizz Winstead, Daily Show co-creator, looked around at the dumpster fire of reproductive rights and said, “Fine. If no one else wants to travel the country to tell the truth about abortion access and show independent clinics care and appreciation, we’ll do it ourselves.”

Since then, thanks to YOU, AAF has become your audacious, funny, deeply informed go-to in the fight for reproductive health care. We’ve shown up everywhere: in abortion clinics, on the streets, on major news outlets, at marches and protests, at the Supreme Court, and at both the Democratic and Republican National Conventions. And we always come prepared to expose hypocrisy, uplift abortion providers, and turn public outrage into real action.

12,000+ volunteers have joined our Operation Save Abortion trainings, stepping up to help clinics in a myriad of way—escorting, translating, designing, and organizing.
To date, our TikTok, Instagram and YouTube videos have racked up over 43 million views, getting real abortion information to people who need it.
Evidence from our security monitoring program helped convict 11 anti-abortion extremists under federal FACE Act charges.
Feminist Buzzkills remains in the top 5% of Apple’s News Commentary podcasts, delivering weekly clarity from experts (and well-deserved snark).
And this is all dreamed up and produced by a team of 14, with the help of thousands of volunteers, and one mission: support clinics, expose extremism, and make abortion information accessible to everyone.
