Catholic Charities USA endorsed the Reducing Homelessness Through Program Reform Act (RHTPRA) sponsored by Senators Mike Rounds (R-SD), Tina Smith (D-MN), Jack Reed (D-RI), and Mike Crapo (R-ID), and the Renewing Opportunity in the American Dream (ROAD) to Housing Act of 2025, S. 2651, sponsored by Senators Tim Scott (R-SC) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA). The RHTPRA was included in the ROAD Act, which passed the Senate in October. Click here for more information on these Acts ([link removed]).

Please consider asking your members of Congress to contact their leadership and appropriate committee members and request that the ROAD to Housing Act remain part of the Fiscal Year 2026 National Defense Authorization Act.
