[International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day]([link removed])
Saturday, November 22 is [International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day]([link removed]), also known as “Survivor Day.” It’s not too late to register for an in-person event near you! For those who have lost someone to suicide, the healing that can be gained by connecting with other suicide loss survivors can be powerful and transformative. By attending a Survivor Day event, you will explore your grief journey, as well as receive insight as to what has helped others heal from their suicide loss.
In addition to in-person events, AFSP is hosting two national virtual events this weekend: Día de Esperanza (Day of Hope) on November 21, focused on the unique considerations of suicide loss in Hispanic and Latinx culture; and Survivor Day Live on November 22. Both events will consider emotions that frequently accompany suicide loss, the way people talk about their loss experience with others, what has been helpful for people in their healing processes, and more.
