DGA PUBLIC BROADCASTING ALERT
CPB agrees to revive a $36 million deal with NPR killed after Trump's pressure
After operating WITHOUT federal funding for the first time in its history, NPR just WON a major victory in its lawsuit against the Trump administration:
The settlement is a victory for editorial independence and a step toward upholding the First Amendment rights of NPR. – Katherine Maher, President and CEO of NPR
But the fight isn’t over. NPR will be in court next month! And public broadcasting stations still need a MASSIVE wave of support amidst Trump’s attacks.
So please, DGA Team: Will YOU sign on RIGHT NOW to stand with NPR and PBS?
