I'm running for the Senate to unseat Lindsey Graham in South Carolina because I'm tired of watching him falling in line just to please the president over the needs of South Carolinians and other families suffering from this pandemic. And I need your help to defeat him.

Right now, more than 46,000 South Carolinians have been sick with the coronavirus and thousands more could join them amid a test-kit shortage and plans to reopen. But instead of fighting for working people, Graham turned his back on the front-line health care workers who urgently need personal protective equipment. And he's threatening to continue his efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act if the GOP keeps its chokehold on the Senate.

It's clear Graham has given up on keeping folks healthy, but I won't. I'm taking a stand for the South Carolinian families that can't access affordable health care when they need it most.

I'm ready to do what's right for South Carolina - and the people of the Palmetto State are ready for a change, too. Recent polling shows me beating Lindsey Graham when voters hear about his record, making this his most competitive race ever. But we can't do this without your help, John - so my friend Catherine suggested I reach out today personally:

I grew up with my grandparents, and the most valuable thing they ever taught me was about integrity and character. If they had a dollar, you always got 50 cents. And no matter how difficult times were, they always sent everyone home with warm food covered in tinfoil. They taught me that no matter what, you have to treat others right. And you can bet I'm bringing that with me to the Senate.

South Carolina needs strategy, not political games. We need a senator who won't be swayed by money or power while our families face unthinkable hardships and unemployment skyrockets like nothing we've ever seen.

I know I have what it takes to defeat Graham and restore real leadership to South Carolina. But wealthy right-wing donors are pouring enormous amounts of money into Graham's war chest, and I can't stand up to his $13.9 million in funds by myself. Asking for money isn't my favorite thing in the world - but I'm not a superhero and know that I can't win this fight alone, so I'm asking you to take a chance on me so that we can flip this seat and the Senate:
