Dear Friend
In a rare and hopeful moment of unity, the Epstein Files Transparency Act was passed, almost unanimously, in Congress and signed into law by President Trump! The bill passed 427-1 in the House of Representatives and unanimously in the Senate.
This is a long-awaited step forward for justice and a testament to the relentless courage of survivors.
The bill, House Resolution 581, mandates the full release of government files related to the Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell sex trafficking network. It gives the Department of Justice 30 days to release these documents.
This victory was forged by the powerful voices of survivors who demanded to be heard. Their unrelenting calls for transparency and accountability brought together leaders from both sides of the political aisle, proving that the pursuit of justice can and must transcend partisan divides.
We are so grateful to survivors, including our very own Teresa J. Helm, for making this happen!
The next step: ensure this move is followed up with real accountability for perpetrators and facilitators of sexual abuse associated with Epstein and Maxwell. The survivors who have waited for so long deserve nothing less!
