John: Democratic moms won big on Election Night this year—soon, we’ll have two more mama governors: Abigail Spanberger in Virginia and Mikie Sherrill in New Jersey.

This TRIPLED our number of Democratic moms serving as governor, and it’s going to make a huge difference for families.

In Virginia, Abigail Spanberger will be the first woman and first mom to ever serve as governor. In New Jersey, Democratic gubernatorial candidates haven’t won three cycles in a row for half a century—until Mikie Sherrill bucked this historical trend this year.

And here’s the kicker: both Abigail and Mikie won with double-digit margins. This is proof that the support we give to our Democratic moms matters. Now, Virginia and New Jersey will both be led by fearless mamas who understand the real struggles families face—and will press for the solutions we all deserve.

Next year, we think we could DOUBLE the number of Democratic mama governors.
