This is an urgent call for help.

A new Oxfam report shows that COVID-19 is impacting more than physical health - due to the slowdown of the global economy, the hunger crisis is deepening in existing hotspots and creating new epicenters of hunger across the globe. By the end of the year, 12,000 people per day are at risk of dying from COVID-19 linked hunger - potentially more than the disease itself.

Oxfam is on the ground in more than 60 countries helping communities struggling with COVID-19 directly with handwashing supplies and other aid, and helping those struggling with hunger, like through providing seeds in Afghanistan, cash transfers in Venezuela, and food rations in India.

This pandemic is the final straw for the millions already struggling with conflict, climate change, inequality, and a broken food system. We need your help to ramp up our efforts to help in this hunger crisis and stand up for those living in poverty worldwide.
