This year, readers like you helped make this possible.

With your support, Poynter has trained more than 40,000 journalists this year. Through PolitiFact, we’ve fact-checked more than 1,500 claims online. MediaWise, our media literacy initiative, has also brought its journalism history exhibit to hundreds of citizens across the country.

Jane received the Poynter Medal for Lifetime Achievement this year. Poynter received an extraordinary gift, too: a group of supporters stepped forward to match every donation made during our year-end campaign, dollar for dollar.
