It’s no secret that trans rights are under attack in America. For years now, Republicans have used trans people and especially trans kids as scapegoats in their political games. They’ve attacked trans rights in schools, doctor’s offices, bathrooms, and more in an attempt to legislate trans people out of existence.

That’s why Ed Markey has made it his mission to not only defend trans people from ongoing far-right attacks, but to do so proudly and without compromise to the extremists and conspiracy theorists.

We have a responsibility to work to undo the damage that Republicans have done and to advance an agenda of real civil rights, protections, and resources for the transgender community.
