I want to speak to you directly, not as a politician, but as an American who believes deeply in truth, accountability, and the responsibility we all share to protect the most vulnerable among us.
This week, something extraordinary happened in the House of Representatives.
After months of delay and failed lobbying by Donald Trump, an overwhelming bipartisan majority of my colleagues came together to force action on releasing the full Jeffrey Epstein files.
I proudly signed that petition. And when the vote came to the floor, I voted yes.
Let me be clear about why.
Newly revealed emails show that Jeffrey Epstein claimed Trump spent “hours” at his residence with one of Epstein’s victims. That is a direct quote – from Epstein himself.
That allegation alone demands answers. But this is about more than Trump’s relationship with Epstein. It’s about hundreds of victims, years of abuse, and bringing transparency to a system that failed far too many young women for far too long.
It’s about powerful men who believed they were above the law – and a public that deserves to know the truth.
This isn’t partisan. This isn’t political. This is about transparency, justice, and whether we still believe that no one – not a billionaire, not a royal, not a president – is immune from accountability.
For weeks, Trump and his MAGA allies tried to block this vote. They hoped it would quietly disappear. But members from across the political spectrum stood up and said: Enough.
Even Trump, once it became clear where this was heading, tried to reverse his position and act like he supported it all along. But let’s be honest: This vote only happened because people like you stood up and spoke out.
And it passed. That’s a win for transparency, but it’s only the beginning.
At the end of the day, we have to decide what kind of country we want to be: Do we look away from injustice because it’s politically inconvenient? Or do we confront it – no matter how powerful the people involved may be?
I know where I stand. I hope you do, too.
Thank you for reading and for being part of this fight.
More soon,
Haley
A personal note from Haley 👋

I’m a lifelong Michigander and the daughter of small-business owners. I’ve spent my career fighting for Michigan’s working families – and now I’m running for the U.S. Senate to keep standing up for the people I love.

But here’s the truth: Senate control could come down to Michigan. And Trump and his megadonors know it. That’s why they’re gearing up to spend tens of millions to defeat me and hand this seat to a MAGA Republican.

I need your help to fight back. This race will be one of the most competitive – and expensive – in the country, and I’m counting on grassroots support to win.

If you’re with me, will you chip in today?
