Team, we're asking you to remember how you felt when you learned that Abigail Spanberger would be Virginia's next Governor.
Remember when you saw the margin was fifteen points.
Remember when you realized that all of the time, energy, and money we had invested had paid off.
Really remember it — and hold onto that feeling.
We can't allow that feeling to go away.
We need to build on it, to channel the excitement into momentum heading into Abigail's term as Governor and into the next set of elections for Governor and for Congress in less than a year's time.
See, when we said we were setting an example for the entire nation, we meant it.
Now, we don't expect you to donate to every email from here on out. Our election is over after all. But we do hope that you will stay engaged and give what you can, when you can to help us write the next chapter in Virginia's and America's history books.
Every dollar we raise from these emails — just like before — will go toward the continued advocacy and organizing required to deliver on the agenda we fought so hard for during the campaign.
