John xxxxxx,

This week, Congress voted to call on the Justice Department to release the Epstein files. Trump, who has blatant ties to Epstein and appears to be guilty of the absolute worst claims leveled at him, initially stood in opposition to the files being released. However, after he realized he was losing control of his coalition, he reversed his stance.

As if women haven’t had a chilling enough week at the hands of Donald Trump and too many powerful men to count, an unsettling video has been circulating in which a female reporter tried to ask President Trump a follow-up question regarding the release of the Epstein files. He responds by pointing at her and shouting, “Quiet! Quiet, piggy.”

Team, when you watch this video, it’s hard not to see the violence in Trump’s eyes. This is, without a doubt, a chilling video. We refuse to accept or normalize this behavior – and we are working tirelessly to block men like this from getting elected to the halls of power across the country. Enough is enough. [link removed]

We have seen the way men in power use that power to demean and harm women. From the way Trump spoke to that reporter, to the thousands of examples from the Epstein emails. Here’s the good news: We know the perfect way to combat the misogyny, the abuses of power, the boys’ clubs that exclude and objectify women, and, all too often, the real-world violence against women. WE ARE COMMITTED TO ELECTING MORE WOMEN TO THE HALLS OF POWER. To the rooms where decisions about our lives, our safety, and our bodies are being made.

Unfortunately, we’ve spent the past week gaining intimate knowledge about how powerful men use that power against women. If we wouldn’t want to be left alone with these men in a room, why would we ever trust them to be the ones making laws about our bodies, our safety, and our wellbeing?

We need more women in government. Period.

Help support our work to elect qualified, brave, compassionate women who will fight to defend the women of America in every possible way by rushing $20.26 or more today.

P.S. By the way, this week marks 50 years since women were allowed to have a mortgage, a bank account, or a credit card without male permission. WE ARE NOT GOING BACK.

Her Bold Move is the fastest-growing support network for women running for political office in America. As dangerous laws about women get passed in states with the lowest numbers of women in government (11%, 12%....), we're BREAKING the male supermajorities across those states.

Because men shouldn't be making laws about women's bodies.

Support this work with a contribution today!
