President Trump has just put into action his plan to dismantle the
Department of Education.

As a teacher, this is personal for me. Everyone knows the road to the
American dream starts with a good education.

Our students who need the most help will be worse off as a result of this
reckless decision — and it will come at the expense of our whole country.

Americans are sick and tired of these attacks on our schools. They want
their kids to be able to receive a high education, regardless of their
ability or their zip code. But the Trump administration is working to make
that impossible.

I’m going to do everything in my power to fight back against this BS.
Minnesota has some of the best schools in the nation, and I’m sure as hell
not going to let Donald Trump change that.
