If you love the lake life, Patoka Lake in Southern Indiana is the place to play and stay on the water. The second-largest reservoir in the state spans three counties.Patoka Lake Marina [ [link removed] ]offers floating cabins, boat rentals, scenic boat cruises and wine cruises.

One of the best ways to explore nature is to hit the water in a kayak or canoe. At Chain O' Lakes State Park, take the 9 Lake Challenge, which connects across the park.
