Last Friday, I kicked off my re-election campaign. And what a response! I asked Ward 6 neighbors to stand with me at a critical moment for our community and our future. I'm thrilled to share that just four hours after hitting send on that email, I met the key threshold to qualify as a Fair Elections candidate , thanks to how quickly many jumped in to donate.
That tells me Ward 6 neighbors trust the kind of leadership I bring to the Council and my record of delivering for the Ward and the District. But a strong start is just that - a strong start .
To run a winning campaign, we need to keep building on that foundation. Can you DONATE TODAY [[link removed]] ? As a Fair Elections candidate, every dollar I receive from DC residents is matched 5-to-1, and remember, I don’t take any donations from PACs or corporations.
