Our Tram and Bus User Survey for 2025 is now live until Sunday 23 November.
We would really appreciate your feedback on your experience of using trams and buses in the city, so that we can identify what is working for public transport in our city, and what could be improved.Â
The survey will take you up to 5 minutes to complete - thank you!Â
We were really pleased to launch six new mobility hubs across Nottingham earlier this month.
The hubs are safe, accessible and highly-visible spaces that bring together multiple transport options in one convenient location.
They are designed to help people switch easily between walking, cycling, public transport and shared mobility services – reducing reliance on private cars and supporting cleaner, greener travel.
The six sites are:
- Lambourne Drive, Wollaton
- The Dales Central Library in Sneinton
- Bulwell station
- Winchester Street, in Sherwood
- The Bridgeway Centre, in The Meadows
- Percy Street, in Old Basford
The hubs have been introduced across Nottingham using funding from the government's Future Transport Zones programme, which is a joint project with Derby City Council.
Mayor of the East Midlands, Claire Ward has launched a conversation around transport in the region.Â
Residents, businesses and community groups are now being invited to take part in the Mayor’s Big Transport Conversation, to help shape the development of the full Plan.Â
The clocks have gone back and wetter, colder weather is setting in, as well as there being more congestion on the roads due to people being back at school and university.
With so much to do in Nottingham this autumn and in the run-up to the festive period, you can now grab a bargain on parking.
It’s just £4.50 to park all day at Broad Marsh car park on a Saturday or Sunday until 1 February 2026. That means you could head to Broad Marsh at 9am and park until 11.30pm and pay just £4.50.
We want your views on the Hucknall Road Cycle Route, which was completed in 2024.
Have your say and enter our free ÂŁ20 gift card prize draw! The survey closes on Friday 21 November.Â
Planting has begun at Maid Marian Way!
Our water drainage areas are now being planted with moisture loving wildflowers, with trees arriving later this month to be planted!
As the nights continue to draw in and with the clocks going back on Sunday 26 October - now is the time to make sure you have everything you need to stay safe when riding or walking after dark.
Cycling UK has some great tips around cycling in the dark such as having back up lights with you.Â
If you are looking for places to walk at night, the Go Jauntly app helps to map out routes across the city with lighting.Â
