CO GOP CHAIR HORN TAKES OUT SECRET LOAN?

Pushing Party Further Into Debt?

Shocking new information reveals that the CO GOP might be more than just broke - but even further in debt than Party members realize.

There are rumors that - with virtually no money on hand - Chair Brita Horn has taken out a secret loan in order to pay her Executive Director and other administrative costs. By all accounts, Horn’s fundraising has been abysmal. But rather than cut costs she allegedly has taken out a loan that will put the Party into an even deeper financial hole.

This comes on top the hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees Horn and her personal attorney have racked up through unnecessary and vindictive legal warfare against grassroots.

Colorado Republicans deserves answers from Chair Horn.
* How much is the loan for?
* Who gave Horn the loan?
* What are the terms? Is there interest due so that Horn is allowing someone to profit off of her broken finances?
* Exactly what is the loan money going for? Is Horn using it to pay herself? Or her cronies?
* Why not furlough paid staff and cut costs?

And the biggest question of all - if Horn has not been able to raise enough money to cover expenses in the first place, how is she going to repay the loan?

County GOP Chairs are already complaining that fundraising has come to a complete half under Chair Horn’s disastrous leadership and this impacts not just the State Party but individual county parties and candidates.

State Central Committee members’ petition to hold a special meeting to address Horn’s financial recklessness now seems more crucial than ever.
