It's official, y'all! We just won the runoff, and now it's time to flip Texas AND the Senate!

Today, I am so proud to accept the Democratic nomination to be the U.S. Senate candidate for Texas. It wouldn't be possible without this powerful grassroots team -- without people like you who look at our current representation in Washington and say hell no! So, as part of this team, you're accepting this nomination right along with me!

We've built a strong team, and we're ready to do something incredible in November: flip Texas. Are you with us?

Together, we've raised over $6.5 million from more than 56,000 donors, with donations from over 190 counties in Texas. We have hundreds of volunteers reaching out to their neighbors and communities all across Texas. This team is ready for the hard work ahead.

And there's no doubt about it -- this race will be tough, y'all! But not just for us: Roll Call ranked Sen. Cornyn as one of the top 10 most vulnerable senators! That's why he's amassed millions of dollars with the help of big money donors like the NRA, Big Pharma, the insurance industry, and the private detention industry. He's got the Koch network, Mitch McConnell, and all their Washington allies swooping in to his aid.

But they don't scare me.

I've taken on tough fights my whole life. Like when I was shot down and fought back against the Taliban, when I took on the Pentagon to open ground combat roles to women, and when I fought for my life during childbirth. Together, this team WILL win this one.
