2025 has been an incredible year, friend.

From a historic election campaign, to delivering real results for Canadians, and everything in between, here are some important moments from 2025:

On March 9, registered Liberals across the country elected Mark Carney to lead our party and our country.

Dedicated Liberals from across the country helped successfully power our spring election campaign! Thanks to supporters like you, friend, our teams were able to reach out to Canadians across the country, secure the largest Liberal vote share in nearly 50 years, and earn a mandate to build Canada Strong.

On election night, voters in Carleton rejected Pierre Poilievre’s politics of division and elected Bruce Fanjoy as their new Member of Parliament.

One of the first things Mark Carney and our new Liberal government did was cut taxes for the middle class, putting more money in the pocket of 22 million Canadians.

In September, we launched Build Canada Homes to supercharge housing construction in Canada, lower costs, and create new career opportunities in the skilled trades for Canadians.

September also saw the first five recommendations of nation-building projects to be fast-tracked by the Major Projects Office.

We used to build big in this country. It is time to swing for the fences again.

On November 4th, Mark Carney and François-Philippe Champagne tabled Budget 2025, our bold plan to build a stronger, more resilient, and more prosperous economy.

This week, the House voted to pass Budget 2025. Now it's time to deliver, to build our economy with stronger industries, nation-building infrastructures, and millions of more homes, to protect our communities, our sovereignty and our way of life, and to empower Canadians with lower costs and new opportunities.

We’ve had so many great moments this year, and it’s all thanks to dedicated supporters, volunteers, and donors, who shared our plan, knocked on doors, and chipped in to support our Liberal team in so many different ways.
