Here's where we're at:
Weeks ago, Missouri Republicans bowed to Trump's pressure and passed new maps in order to rig the next election before a single vote was cast.
This was not a vote of the people like California, it was the legislature and Governor doing Trump's bidding.
But we can fight back. First via a direct legal challenge which is underway.
There is also a Citizen Veto provision that can force a statewide vote to reject the map; returning power to the people like we did in California.
But there are only three weeks left to get the signatures required to get on the ballot, and organizers are very worried Republicans will do all they can to disqualify as many signatures as possible.
So People Not Politicians Missouri needs our help. Every dollar we raise will go toward the urgent need of gathering the signatures required to trigger a citizen veto referendum -- one we will win. What do you say?
