Herbert,
For too long, the secrecy surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s criminal network has eroded public trust. Americans want to know who is being protected, and why. And they want to know now.
This isn’t a partisan issue — it’s a basic test of transparency and accountability. The truth is the only way to restore confidence in a government that serves the people, not the powerful.
If you missed it, I joined CNN to discuss the President’s behind-the-scenes effort with House Speaker Johnson to keep these files under lock and key — and why that’s unacceptable.
Releasing the Epstein files does not require a vote, but I am glad that the House has now passed legislation to do just that. Still, if President Trump truly wants to make them public — which he now claims after months of working to prevent exactly that — he can make it happen by simply saying the word.
The American people deserve the truth. No exceptions. No delays.
Thanks for standing with me in this fight for transparency and accountability.
