Let me explain why this moment matters:

While we’ve come out of the longest shutdown in American history, the deal did nothing to address rising costs and the healthcare crisis facing thousands in CA-27 and millions nationwide.

It’s why I voted against it. House Republicans left Washington for two months and refused to work with us to make a difference for our constituents. Instead, they’re bending over backwards to please the Trump Administration.

Back at home, California voters overwhelmingly passed Proposition 50 – setting new congressional maps statewide into motion. This is a win for fair representation in our democracy and pushing back against extreme GOP gerrymandering, but it also adds thousands of new voters to my district.

I’m laser-focused on delivering results in Congress despite the GOP majority, and that’s why I’m asking for your thoughts today – will you take the survey to help form our next steps?
