We just got some big news: A federal court just struck down the Texas GOP’s mid-decade redistricting scheme — ruling that the 2025 map was racially gerrymandered and cannot be used in the 2026 election.

This a major blow to Trump, Greg Abbott, and the MAGA Republicans who tried to rig the system and grab control of 30 out of 38 congressional seats here in Texas.

One of the districts they tried to steal? Texas’s 9th — right here. The district I’m running in. So on the heels of this decision, I’m asking you to rush an immediate donation to my campaign to show Trump and Abbott just how foolish it was to try to rig these maps. [ [link removed] ]

The ruling will almost certainly be appealed straight to the U.S. Supreme Court. And with the GOP filing every lawsuit they can to tilt the playing field, we have to stay alert, organized, and ready for anything.

That’s why I’m running for Congress in TX-09. Because I’ve spent my life defending our Constitution — in the skies over Iraq, in the cockpit of an F-16, and aboard the International Space Station. And I’m not about to let MAGA extremists erase this district or silence the voters who call it home.
