Team, GOP Senator Jon Husted is calling on the FDA to ban the abortion pill mifepristone.

Ohioans made our voices clear when we overwhelmingly voted to protect reproductive rights in the Ohio Constitution. But extremists like Husted won’t accept that result — and now he’s using every lever of power he has to roll back reproductive healthcare.

Husted has a long, out-of-touch record on abortion:

In 2002, he supported a total abortion ban with ZERO exceptions — not for rape, not for incest, not even to save the mother's life.

In 2019, he backed Ohio's "heartbeat bill" that would ban abortion at 5-6 weeks — before most women even know they're pregnant.

Now, he's demanding the government override the will of Ohio voters and ban the abortion pill mifepristone.

This is the same playbook Ohio Republicans have used over and over: ignore what voters want while using their power to roll back our healthcare.

If we want to protect reproductive freedom once and for all, we need to defeat Husted in 2026.
