NPR just WON its lawsuit against the Corporation for Public Broadcasting for illegally yielding to Donald Trump's demands!

FIRST: Donald Trump signed an Executive Order calling for NPR and PBS to be defunded.

THEN: We reached out when Congress voted to completely DEFUND NPR and PBS!

As part of a lawsuit against the Trump Administration, NPR SUED the Corporation for Public Broadcasting in response, accusing them of illegally yielding to Trump's demands to financially punish them for their coverage when they tried to cancel already-approved funding!

NOW: NPR just WON its lawsuit against CPB!

But our fight doesn’t end here. NPR president and CEO Katherine Maher said of their ongoing lawsuit: "The settlement is a victory for editorial independence and a step toward upholding the First Amendment rights of NPR… We look forward to our day in court in December."
