What’s happening right now isn’t about law enforcement or public safety. It’s about intimidation and fear.

The Trump administration has begun deploying federal immigration agents into North Carolina communities, including here in NC-02 — leaving families living in uncertainty, neighbors worried, and our communities feeling more divided than ever.

This is wrong. This is not the way justice and public safety are supposed to work.

People deserve a process rooted in fairness and respect. But what’s happening right now isn’t that. Instead, what we’re seeing is federal agents acting outside of the law, without transparency or accountability.

I’m asking you to add your name demanding the Trump administration stop sending federal agents into our communities. Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and treated with dignity — not to live under the threat of random raids and intimidation.
