Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Fellow Patriots,
I’m thrilled to invite you to the Arter-Rowland National Security Forum this Thursday!
This Thursday, November 20, join former Governor, President Trump’s 2024 Kansas Chair, and lifesaving surgeon Jeff Colyer – a man who is, without exaggeration, one of the most fearless Americans walking the planet today.
This is not hype. This is fact.
Jeff Colyer has been shot at more times than he can count on one hand.
He has voluntarily deployed to more than 25 war zones and disaster zones – places most of us couldn’t imagine stepping foot in even with a full security detail.
He was the only surgeon in southern Rwanda during the 1994 genocide that took 800,000 lives.
He’s operated on the most horrifically wounded soldiers and civilians in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, the Balkans, Sierra Leone, Cambodia, Armenia, Indonesia, Ukraine – and too many others to list.
Just last year he was back in Ukraine, elbow-deep in some of the worst trauma anyone will ever see, saving lives while the bombs were still falling.
This is a reconstructive plastic surgeon from Kansas City who could have stayed home making a very comfortable living – but instead keeps running toward the sound of the guns because people need him. He’s also the guy who served as a White House Fellow to President Reagan, shaped disaster policy for multiple administrations, served as the longest-tenured Lieutenant Governor in Kansas history, and ultimately became the 47th Governor of Kansas.
In short: battlefield surgeon, statesman, and genuine American hero – all in one.
Jeff is going to take us right to the front lines with him. You’ll hear what it’s really like to operate under fire, how medicine and national security intersect in the world’s hottest spots, how one determined American can change outcomes in chaotic environments, and why this work still matters to U.S. interests and to basic human decency.
Trust me – you do not want to miss this. I’ve heard Jeff speak before, and every time I walk out thinking, “That’s the kind of person who makes me proud to be an American.”
Seating is limited / virtual seats are going fast – please RSVP today so we can save you a spot.
Bring a friend who needs to be reminded what real courage looks like. Looking forward to seeing you there for what promises to be a legendary evening.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
- Team Colyer
