Finding a safe place to live is an essential first step for human trafficking survivors escaping their traffickers. Having to wait for housing could mean the difference between life and death for a survivor.
Right now, funding for emergency shelters and housing programs for human trafficking survivors is being withheld by the Trump Administration.
Our housing team trains programs nationwide to help survivors navigate the complex housing landscape, and to provide culturally appropriate housing to all survivors. This work is more critical than ever as providers battle the constantly changing political landscape.
