John, it’s Kamala. I am reaching out because this is too important not to face head-on.

Republicans across the country are trying to rig Congressional maps and silence the will of the people.

They have figured out that they will not win if they do not cheat. Because they know that taking health care and SNAP benefits from working families is not a winning argument.

Democrats know: We have to fight fire with fire.

I am proud of the California voters who passed Prop 50, and I am grateful for leaders like Senator Angela Alsobrooks and Governor Wes Moore who are spearheading the fight in Maryland to protect our democracy.

It is time to take it to the voters, take it to the streets, and take it to the people. We must not allow the people who want to cheat democracy to win.

If you are with me in this fight for fairness, I am asking you to pitch in what you can to help build the fire we need. This is important work, and I cannot do it alone. No one can.
