John, That's 500 days in which an estimated 50,000 people in America have been shot and killed. That's 500 days in which countless families have been torn apart by gun violence. One death is too many. 50,000 is unfathomable. Right now, Americans are buying guns in record numbers and background checks are more important than ever. Tens of thousands of Americans have buried their loved ones while Mitch McConnell has REFUSED to bring this bill up for a vote, and President Trump fails to put action behind his empty words.
While McConnell and Trump drag their feet and continue to accept NRA donations, 100 Americans are killed by guns each day. We’ve had enough. We’ve delivered more than 80,000 emails, petitions, and phone calls on gun reform and we are not letting up. We need to keep the pressure on the Senate to expand Brady Background Checks now!
