Betsy Sweet (U.S. Senate, Maine) is campaigning in the primaries to defeat Republican incumbent Susan Collins in the general election. Meanwhile, our very own Mike Siegel (TX-10) is back again in a Run-off Election with the ultimate goal of beating Republican incumbent Michael McCaul.

So far, we have FOUR candidates across the country moving onto general elections challenging Republicans. We have to gear up for fierce battles ahead!
As we continue to live through unprecedented times, we need to stay focused on what’s at stake. Replacing Republicans with progressives in Congress is one of our most important goals this election cycle. We are facing a health care crisis, made worse by the global pandemic. We also have an on-going climate crisis that needs to be addressed by radical ideas and ambitious people. Every election, establishment candidates seek to line their pockets with billionaire donations, rather than listen to the needs of their constituents.
It’s time to prove that grassroots campaigns run on the support of working people can bring real change!
The presidential primary may seem decided, but Congressional primaries are still happening. With every victory we earn, we are showing the strength of working people. We have a chance to bring progressive candidates to Congress, but that means putting in everything we got!
