Since our founding in 1944, we’ve helped hundreds of thousands of gifted young students overcome barriers to attend college. The six-year graduation rate for UNCF scholarship recipients is seventy percent. That’s eleven percent higher than the national average!

But right now, talented young students still face obstacles that keep them from reaching their fullest potential—barriers that are best overcome with the support of UNCF.
