Help me continue to show up in red districts, MAGA podcasts, and conservative spaces. It’s working.
John,
I’m going to say something blunt: for the first time ever, we have split the MAGA base, and we did it by doing what Democrats have refused to do for years.
Up to 40 MAGA Republicans are ready to support my Khanna Epstein Transparency Act, even though Donald Trump publicly told them not to. Some are prepared to lose his endorsement over it.
This didn’t happen by accident.
It happened because I’ve spent months:
going on MAGA-aligned podcasts
holding town halls in deep-red districts
building personal relationships across the aisle, like those with Rep. Massie and even MTG
treating MAGA voters with respect — not mockery
making the case for transparency and economic patriotism
Washington didn’t believe this strategy would work. But it’s working.
It’s the most consequential crack in the MAGA coalition in nearly a decade – since Trump came down his golden escalator and announced his candidacy for President.
And if we can break Trump’s coalition on transparency and a government for the people, not the rich, powerful, and well-connected, we can break it on other issues too and build a broad, durable, cross-partisan governing majority.
But I need your help to keep showing up where Democrats never go.
