This weekly digest is a method to communicate updates, initiatives and policy changes from the Aging and Adult Services Division (AASD) and Disability Services Division (DSD) in a simplified way. We send this announcement every week on Tuesdays.

• Updates to Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) provider enrollment and qualification review
• Updates to EIDBI service coordination with homeschooled students, including online school

Updates to EIDBI provider enrollment and qualification review

• Audience: EIDBI providers
• Effective date: Immediately
• Summary: DHS updated expectations and procedures to verify provider qualifications as part of our ongoing work to strengthen program integrity and consistency across the EIDBI benefit.

Updates to EIDBI service coordination with homeschooled students, including online school

• Audience: EIDBI providers, people receiving services and other interested parties
• Effective date: Jan. 1, 2026
• Summary: Effective Jan. 1, 2026, EIDBI providers must not deliver or bill for select direct intervention services during homeschool or online/virtual school instruction.
