Tutu didn’t always have the fun and friendship that fill her life these days. Born on a factory farm, she would have been one of 46 million turkeys killed for Thanksgiving. We’re grateful that a New York City student saved Tutu, planning to tell her story through art. When the artist’s school wouldn’t allow her to keep a bird, Tutu came to Farm Sanctuary.
Today, Tutu is the life of the party and brings friendly vibes to our New York aviary, where she’s living her best life thanks to the generosity of caring people like you. She gets tasty and nutritious food every day, but just to be sure, she follows her caregivers at feeding time.
