You might have seen me ask for $26 before. It’s not a coincidence

I ask for $26 on the 26th of most months, because it was our average online contribution last year, and it represents the strength of our grassroots team.

Too many politicians rely on special-interest groups and super-wealthy donors to fund their campaigns, and as a result, they’re indebted to their political agendas. I refuse to compromise our progressive values.

That’s why I’m counting on you, because I’m fighting for you in Washington -- not special interests or billionaires. When you give, it helps me fight for those progressive values in Washington. It helps us fight for sensible gun laws, affordable health care, and Social Security benefits.
