John, I was raised by strong women — my whole life is shaped by it. They taught me that you take care of each other, even when times are tough. They also taught me to fight for the things that you believe in.

Throughout my career, I’ve never been afraid of a tough fight — from protecting reproductive healthcare access in California, expanding access to affordable healthcare, and ensuring that people are treated fairly in the workplace. It's been my life’s work to fight for our rights.

So while the Trump Administration continuously attacks reproductive freedoms and healthcare for millions of Californians, I’ve helped lead the efforts at Planned Parenthood to provide lifesaving medical care to thousands.
