Seasonal closures for Wyoming Game and Fish Department Wildlife Habitat Management Areas are in place or will be enforced soon. These closures are important in protecting wildlife on their winter range.

2027 conservation stamp to feature Arctic grayling
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is preparing to open the entry period for its 2027 Conservation Stamp Art Contest. The annual competition selects a winner whose artwork will be featured on the state’s annual conservation stamp.

 It’s estimated that less than 10 percent of all poaching cases in Wyoming are solved. But useful tips from the public are reported…that number goes way up.
