John,

Carolyn decided to run for Congress again because she believes Southwest Washingtonians deserve a leader who truly listens to and fights for them. Jaime Herrera Beutler is not that leader.

Just take a look at her record. Since she’s been in Congress, Jaime Herrera Beutler has voted...

…against lowering health coverage costs and expanding coverage for those who need it most.

…against women’s right to reproductive choice and the freedom to make personal health care decisions with their doctors.

…for repealing the Affordable Care Act, ripping away health care coverage for tens of millions of Americans, and removing protections for people with pre-existing conditions.

That doesn’t sound like the record of someone who’s sticking up for the health and well being of her constituents.

If elected to Congress this November, Carolyn will be a strong advocate for affordable health care, lowering prescription drug prices, and protecting women’s choice. Instead of recklessly repealing our current health care system with no viable replacement, Carolyn believes we should make it better by creating a public option.

The choice is clear between these two candidates, but we have just four months left to make our case to voters in Southwest Washington and show them Carolyn is the representative they need and deserve. Right now, we have just three days until primary election ballots go out!

We’re relying on grassroots donors to fuel this campaign until November 3rd, and our mid-month fundraising deadline is this Thursday. Can you pitch in $10 or whatever is meaningful to you to help us send Carolyn to Congress?

Thanks for supporting Carolyn, a real fighter for the people.
